Good Game. Incorporates two different play styles depending on which server you play. The premise is good. Documentation is lacking. Many times you feel like a fish out of water. Once you begin to understand how to play the enjoyment level increases. Its recommended that if you choose to play the game that you find a guild to join so you can learn faster. Also a knowledge of irc is helpful.

Its a great game no downloads needed, friendly to dial up users, easy to learn the basics but with a huge variety of creatures, spells, abilities, Heroes, etc there is heaps to learn. The game is continually evolving (always being updated) so you will never know everything, everyone is welcome to make suggestions about the game as to how they would like to see it updated on the T5P forum.
There are any number of goals you can strive for and numerous strategies you can apply to achieve them with great potential for role play, war and ranking (Having the largest kingdom and most land you can get).
I highly recommend this game as a great strategy and community game. :)

If you used to play this game and left because like me you thought it had been massively over tweaked well you ought to visit again. They may have got it right this time. I kinda like the format that only allows researching a bit at a time. It forces you to get out and try things out instead of spending a boring week researching.

I play this game and got reasonably good at it, so my opinion is biased.
Still I would love to see more people come and try this game, the interface has improved so much since I started playing and the effort people put in to keep this game improving has been awesome.
The steepish learning curve when you join this game is best dealt with by starting on freshman server, finding a good guild to join that is active when you are online and playing until you work out what you are doing wrong :D

Any muppet with a vasriable IP spouts off every time they wind up their freeserve modem and manage to get a barely workable connection.
