I have been playing RoB for a lot of years. It has grown and progressed so much over this time but the main concept remains the same. Fun and Community.
There is a complexity about the game that is somewhat bewildering to new players at the start. But if you give it the time it deserves - with help from the guides, staff and players - and don't try and rush into 'being the best' - which won't happen, unless you are prepared to spend 10's of 1000's of cash - you will progress at a good pace.
It is free to play. There are cash options available, but not needed, only wanted.
Full of Quests, Achievements, Missions. You can play alone, but it is best to join a Coven, at least at the start, to get help and gain knowledge of game-play.
The main thing to remember, that a lot of new players do not seem to understand, is that it is what it is. It is a TEXT based RPG. There is a hell of a lot of reading involved. You know, because it's TEXT. Reading and comprehension is a must.
Overall - a great, long lasting game.
