Just started playing. Nice friendly community. Helpful towards new players. The game is addictive. There is so much that you can do and I have only been playing the game for a few days so far! From what I have seen so far I rate the game as excellent! I would recommend it. I think looking over the Game Wiki before starting is a real help. There is so much to learn and do! You need information about the game as you start. Also ask questions in the integrated chat. I found everyone to be very friendly.

I like that while you CAN spend IRL currency to earn the premium currency, you can also EARN EVERYTHING IN GAME...but I think this is causing this excellent game to have financial problems.
I've played as both an "isolationist" (save from attack, playing "Sim City" on my planet) and as an expansionist, out to conquer but vulnerable...both styles are FUN. They are currently down to just the main server (and the beta-test server...the programming team is CONTINUALY tweaking to improve the gameplay and add features...unlike 99% of games like this, that never improve and never address bugs) but still have plenty of room for new players...the map is HUGE...you could settle in a densely populated area...OR head off to an area containing only the "NPC" robot Empires (but you automatically start in a safe "starter zone").

Beautiful game that has made me give up all others. This game allows you to customize your own race, and battle for dominance in either the classical, shoot-em' up style, or by a more subtle approach.
