i have not been playing chosen space for a very long time but when i first started i was quite confused it took me all of 5 mins to sit down and read the wiki that showed me what to do i it is a simple game to figure out how to play soon i met several people and was asked to join a couple of factions,and governments with the little i knew it took no time at all to rise in the ranks of t6he government i chose to join. game play is reasonably fast and thats saying something considering i'm on a dialup conection. roleplaying is not a must but it enhences your enjoymet and many people will cater to you if you rp well. as the discription implys your free to do anything you can think of from becoming a bounty hunter, a trader, a miner, a government official , or even a pirate. and these are but a few the posibilities only end with your imagination the choice is up to you that is what i love most about chosen space, the freedom of choice that lets your imagination run wild

Very fun space trader. Align yourself with player factions that control planets and can build starbases, refineries, etc.
You can also pirate or "hack credits". Mining is also very feasible and profitable. Plaers will also generate bounties on themselves for criminal activities, and other players can take the contract.

The beginning is rather slow - but I guess that simulates reality - once you get over that hurdle the game becomes rather fast pace...Took me two weeks of leisurely playing to get a better ship, and probably will only take me a week to get an even better one now. Really the game only begins once you buy your first upgrade ship...all in all its worth a shot.

One of the best free games I have seen around. Do what you want, when you want. Be it a peaceful trader/miner, an empire building strategist, a random killer everyone hates, or be that guy who is always on comms chating it up and making other laugh, you can always find your niche in this game. Not to mention that the player input plays a large part in the development of this ever growing game, and there's no reset! So what you work for stays as long as you can keep it or want it. Its hard to find a good MMORG in this genre, but I like this one, not much in the way of graphics, but there are good game dynamics. Be sure to join a faction right away for tips to get started.

Gamers, want a real review? Ignore the creator's spammed posting about Risk and brilliance and check this out:
*Updates are slow and often cosmetic rather than functional. Game was released a year and a half ago, and still lacks a completely functional trade or combat script... for a trading/combat space MMORPG.
*Community is poorly regulated, so bad behavior is out of control. Game creator has periodically threatened to being enforcing new rules (like moderating MSN chats) and then backed off of it when he was asked to apply the same rules to all players.
*Game has potential, but given it's incomplete state there just isn't enough to keep you coming back. Graphics are rudimentary, which is okay if the game play is interesting enough, but good game play usually comes from, oh, say, a finished game. Or at least a game that gets regular attention from it's owner.

It's boring and nothing in the description here is actually in the game.
It's terrible, don't waste your time.
Also, the maker of the game forces players to pay money to him in order to advance. Again, no reason to waste your time.

No real opinion about this game because I have never played it.
This reviewing site is extremely pants though, I visit here roughly once a day but due to the staticness of my IP address I have to find some thing else to talk about.
Try playing the five pillars people I love that game almost as much as I hate this as a review site.
If I was some retard with an AOL account I could review T5P every day. I just don't think the total pre frontal lobotomy is a price I am willing to pay.
