I have found that out, too… sometimes I forget in the mornings to strain my kefir, and I see that the whey has separated (this sort of happens to my sourdough starter in the fridge when it is time to �&88;feed2#2221; it). But it just never is at the top for me, it is sometimes at the bottom, in the middle, etc. I can figure it out somehow. I can’t wait until my cabbage grows in my garden, as I want to make sauerkraut from scratch!!! Thanks for the tip!
