Excellent atmosphere, new features added occassionally, and even has its own wiki.

No matter how much time you want to invest, whether it be 15 minutes or 5 hours a day, all you need is a drive for teamwork and a love of winning. Kick butt, explore player developed worlds, and immerse yourself in one of the strangest most gratifying experiences online!

Very endearing to see it preserved for so long.

Vibrant, welcoming community, excellent roleplaying. Its niche, but if its YOUR niche, you'll play for years and years

Best browser game I have played in years

Great game, Game of Thrones meets DnD.

I've never had such a vibrant experience as I did when my friend had me pick this game up.

I will second- it's a niche game but if it's YOUR niche you'll never stop playing. EXCELLENT opportunities for RP and storybuilding and adventure. Not much in the way of graphics though. If you like D&D you may well love BM.

There's politics, roleplay and warfare. There's teamwork and backstabbing, a persisting world with over 15 years of in-game history, always changing. You can follow great leaders or become the leader, you can take a hundred soldiers to battle or become the marshal who tells where the troops should be. I've played for years and still get surprised by plots and storylines.

A great community, many friends to meet and amazing stories to create. This game is perfect for who has little time to play, and even for times you have a lot to spare. To Take part in decades of continuous history, all made by the players, is a marvellous experience.

Been playing on and off for years, and there's still so much of it to explore! Every time, every character, is a new story, a different way to do politics, a different path to follow. The maps don't change, but the world itself never stops rolling.

Best game ever. Nice community, commited devs (all players) and a place to make friends for life, even for a old person like me.

A niche game that scratches that roleplaying itch like no other.

It's been around for like forever, and still active. That alone tells you it's doing something right.

Active player base, history, interesting culture, opportunities to be on beta/testing or stable worlds. Diverse roleplaying. Been playing on and off for 10 years and love it.

Quality browser game with a welcoming and fun community, long history, its own wiki and discord channels. Can be played as light or as deep as you want, from a couple minutes a day to many hours of collaborative storytelling. My favourite browser game.

Been in the community for quite a while now and to be honest, they're some of the strongest online friends I have made in many years!

Fun free browser game with options for constant beta or stable play. Involved and fun player base. Long history, been running for 20+ years under constant improvement!

Good old-school strategy roleplay game. Real-time/turn-based.

I have never in my life found a game that fosters better connections between people. I met my wife here, met a number of close friends here, and even when I've had to stop playing at times, I've never forgotten about it and always come back.

Been playing for 15 years, the continuity and history totally created by players is fascinating. Storytelling potential is nearly limitless, bounded only by your imagination and your ability to work with other players to succeed.
